Hello there!
My name is Rochelle and I'm from New York and this here is my pretty little blog where I talk about books. I've been blogging for over two years. Not always consistent or on schedule and I take a lot of breaks but I do enjoy blogging so I keep coming back to it.
It's apparent, but I'll say it anyway: I love books. I love movies and music and writing too but mostly, books are my thing. I read a lot of YA, even though I'm well passed my teenage years, but I'm trying to read more adult books. Now that the new adult genre is rising up, I can have a mixture of both. I wish I could be one of those super fast readers that knock off like twenty books a month but I'm unfortunately not. I read slow. I guess I'm like a sponge, I like to absorb the words, the writing, the characters. I just can't do it fast.

Some people have asked me how I came up with the name for my blog:
It would've been quite simple to name my blog Chelly's Book Nook or something similar but me being me, I wanted something that stood out and said something about how I feel about reading. So I picked Books Like Stars. Because they are like stars in a way. Some are dull and burn out quick while others shine bright forever.
I joined the book blogging community because it's the best way to find out about new books and see what other people are reading. In my life, no one really obsesses over reading like I do (except you, Ashley). Everyone else thinks I'm crazy to spend so much time stuck in a book. So this is where I escape to an island full of crazed book junkies like myself. Thanks for having me!
